I illustrated these 25 birds using Photoshp and designed this pamphlet in InDesign to guide bird watchers as they look and listen for birds along the Valentine Farm trails. The bird illustrations were then printed and laminated onto custom-cut metal backings and placed in the habitat where real life birds are likely to be found. I was careful to make the bird illustrations as large as possible while still allowing the text to remain legible and neatly organized. Making this trail a reality was a team effort between myself, Mahoosuc Land Trust, local birder James Reddoch, and a handful of dedicated birders and volunteers.
The back of the pamphlet features a map of Valentine Farm to guide visitors along the trail where the habitat for each bird is marked by a bird sign and a number on the map.
