I am honored to have worked with We Should Do It All Studio and Jennifer Neptune of the Penobscot nation on this project. I was given creative license to illustrate each panel under the art direction of Jennifer and WSDIA, and am proud to share the (almost finalized but not quite) products of our work together. All of the illustrations were created in Photoshop. We were bound by NPS conventions for much of the graphic design, but I was able to make some suggestions that enhanced legibility and improved overall composition of several of the pieces. The illustrations reflect the natural beauty surrounding the viewer, and represent some species they are likely to see in the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument.
